Situation of refugees discussed by Autonomous Administration

Northern and Eastern Syria Social Services and Assistance Office held a meeting in Ayn Isa.

The meeting was organised at the premises of the Autonomous Administration and was attended by Social Services and Assistance Office co-chairs Ebdulqadir Miwehed and Zozan Elûş as well as representatives of aid organizations operating in Northern and Eastern Syria.

The co-chairs evaluated the support provided in service, health and similar fields in the refugee camps in Northern and Eastern Syria and expressed the inadequacy of the organizations. The co-chairs also noted that the charities do not fulfill their duties in the camps.

Representatives of aid organizations at the meeting agreed to increase the support for training activities in the areas of  Deir ez-Zor liberated by the SDF.

Participants also indicated that each organization should carry out its work in coordination with the Autonomous Administration.

At the end of the meeting, it was agreed to increase aid and services to all camps, especially Hol Camp which has reached a population of over 72,000 people.
