YPG: Five Turkish-backed terrorists killed in Afrin

YPG fighters continue their actions against the occupation forces in Afrin.

People’s Defense Units (YPG) Press Office released the following statement reporting the details of their actions:

“Within the scope of the second phase of the Resistance of the Age in occupied Afrin, our forces carried out a series of successful operations in Afrin’s Shera and Rajo districts, targeting the mercenary allies of the invader Turkish state.

On September 24th, our units ambushed a military vehicle of the Hamza Division on the road to the village of Dersiwane in Shera district. As a result, three terrorists were killed and three AK-47 weapons were seized. The mercenaries killed were identified as Amir al-Faraj, Sadiq al-Sharif and Massoud al-Sayegh.

On the same day, our units carried out another action, targeting one of the Hamza Division mercenaries on the road between the Rajo town and the Haj Khalil village. As a result, the terrorist was killed.

On September 25th, our unit carried out a sniper action, targeting one of the mercenaries of the Sultan Abdul Hamid II Brigade in the Nebi Houri area in Shara district. As a result, the terrorist was killed. His name is Ali al-Omar, originally from Aleppo.”
