Authorities didn’t let the Northern Syrian youth who reached the Sêmalka Border Gate to cross into Bashure (southern) Kurdistan, but the youth is trying to cross into Bashur through the bridge over the border.
According to ANHA reporters who are following the March by Northern Syrian youth in support of Bashure Kurdistan, Bashur (South Kurdistan) authorities didn’t allow the youth through the border gate.
Several more security personnel were brought in to the border when the youth who were not allowed to cross through the border gate attempted to cross into Bashure Kurdistan through the bridge on the border.
High tensions continue between the youth and the border forces, and the youth will make a statement on the issue.
