The recently created Kurdish National Unity Parties condemned the inhumane practices carried out in Turkish-occupied areas of Northern and Eastern Syria and said no solution is possible as long as the occupation continues.
The Kurdish National Unity Parties denounced that the Turkish state continues to carry out violent occupation practices in areas such as Afrin, Serêkaniyê and Girê Spî before the eyes of the world.
The statement said: "The Turkish state continues practices such as killings, plunder and torture of civilians as well as pursuing the demographic change of the region which it wants to ‘Turkify’.”
The Kurdish National Unity Parties stressed that: “We would like to express to the world and Kurdish public opinion that as long as the invasion of the Turkish state continues in Syria, no problems can be solved in these territories.
Our land is our honour and cannot be a bargaining chip for any force. On this basis, the international public should take its responsibility and work for the end of the occupation carried out by the Turkish in our lands and for the end of the persecution of the people."
