Members of the Federation of North-East Syria War Veterans, spoke to ANF about the International Conspiracy against Abdullah Öcalan, which started on 9 October 1998 with the Kurdish leader’s expulsion from Syria.
Stating that international forces captured Öcalan and handed him over to the Turkish state in a conspiracy, war veteran Elî Tirkî said, “The ideas of the leader are based on the brotherhood of peoples. With the paradigm he developed, he enables the people to govern themselves. Leader Öcalan’s ideas are very important for a solution to social problems. As war veterans, we promise that we will break the isolation of the leader.”
War veteran Raman Hisên stated that the problems in the Middle East have deepened since the 9 October Conspiracy. Pointing out that peace and tranquility have not yet been achieved in the region, Raman Hisên said, “Because a person like Leader Öcalan, who has the power to solve the problems in the region, was taken prisoner by conspiracy. The leader is someone who can ensure peace. Leader Öcalan wanted to show the people in the country and in the Middle East the right path, the path of freedom and the path of truth. Of course, the hegemonic powers did not want this. These powers and states want the peoples to be slaves to themselves. That is wahy they developed the conspiracy. The effect of the conspiracy is still continuing in the Middle East.”
Raman Hisên pointed out that: “All international organisations that talk about human rights and countries that claim to be based on democracy should see how the fascist Turkish state imposes isolation on our leader. Hegemonic powers, of course, do not want Leader Öcalan to leave the Imrali prison because they know that his ideas provide the solution to the problems in the Middle East. With Leader Öcalan’s ideas, all problems in the region and the Middle East can be resolved. Hegemonic powers, on the other hand, do not want these problems to be resolved.”
