The Hesekê Martyrs' Families Assembly held a meeting in the Reşo hall in the Mişêrf neighbourhood to evaluate the latest developments.
At the meeting which was attended by dozens of families of martyrs, Co-Chair of the Democratic Society Movement (TEV-DEM), Xerib Hiso, evaluated the recent developments in North and East Syria.
Xerib Hiso pointed to the invasion attacks of the Turkish state and remarked that the Turkish state was seeking to expand its occupation in North and East Syria by using every means available.
The TEV-DEM Co-Chair said that the Turkish army resorted to prohibited weapons and violated all international agreements and laws to implement its plans after the failure it suffered in North and East Syria and the Medya Defence Zones.
Hiso remarked that the aim of the invading Turkish state was to defeat the united peoples. He called on the people of the region to organize in line with the revolutionary people's war against the attacks and crimes of the Turkish state and to reinforce the patriotic spirit.
Hiso also called attention to the silence of the Syrian government in the face of the Turkish attacks. He remarked that the Syrian government was involved in corruption, bribery and imposed an embargo on Şêxmeqsûd (Sheikh Maqsoud) and Eşrefiye (AShrafiyah) neighbourhoods in Aleppo.
Hiso also condemned the silence of the international forces against the attacks of the invading Turkish state. He called on the people of the region to expand solidarity against the attacks, to protect the achievements of the martyrs and to support the military forces that protect the region.
Participants exchanged their views at the end of the meeting.
