12 more civilians kidnapped in Afrin

The Turkish army and allied mercenaries continue their inhumane acts in Afrin.

Rojava-based Hawar News Agency (ANHA) reported that the Al-Jabaja Brigade and Al-Shamiya third team under the command of the Turkish army have kidnapped 12 civilians from the village of Mirkan in Afrin’s Mabata district on Tuesday.

Names of the kidnapped civilians are: Şikrî Mihemed Kinc Xemîs (55), Henîf Mehmûd Mistefa (60), Xelîl Hisnî Hemdî (43), Mihemed Xelîl Nûrî (Nasnav Memo 49), Rifet Izet Sînot (40), Reşîd Ebdo Şêxo (45), Hikmet Kinc Xemîs (58), Misefa Ehmed Silêman (56), Mihemed Hisên Hemalîko (48), Hisên Hemalîko (20) and Xemgîn Hemalîko (18).

According to ANHA, the mercenaries have asked for 300 Dollar ransom to release Ehmet Henan (27) they had kidnapped two months ago. The family has paid the ransom but the fate of Henan is unknown.

On the other hand, reports suggest that the civilians kidnapped by Turkish-backed mercenaries are subjected to torture and their whereabouts is not known.
