35 members of invading forces killed in Afrin

An action by YPG/YPJ left 35 members of the invading forces dead in Afrin.

Joined by jihadist groups, the Turkish army’s invasion operation against Afrin Canton of Northern Syria continues since January 20, having already claimed the lives of hundreds of civilians.

Fighters of the YPG/YPJ (People’s/Women’s Defense Units) carried out an action against the Turkish army and affiliated gangs in Mahmudiyah neighborhood of Afrin on Sunday.

According to reports, 35 soldiers of the Turkish army and members of allied gangs were killed as a result of the action.

A top Turkish military officer, lieutenant colonel Mithat Dunca was also killed in Afrin yesterday.
