6 mercenaries killed in YPG actions in Afrin

YPG Press Office announced that 6 mercenaries were killed in two separate actions in Afrin.

People's Defense Units (YPG) Press Office released a statement providing information about the actions carried out by their units against invading forces in Afrin on 24-25 June.

The statement said the following;

“In the scope of the second phase of the Afrin Resistance of the Age, our forces continue their actions against the invading Turkish army elements and mercenaries under their command.

On June 24, our forces carried out an assassination action against mercenaries affiliated with Faylaq al-Sham group on the road between Dâwa and Tıl Silor villages in Jindires district. One member of the gangs was killed as a result.

On June 25, our forces carried out an effective action against Faylaq al-Sham group stationed in the village of Amara in Afrin’s Mabata district. 5 members of the gangs were killed and a military vehicle of theirs was destroyed in this action.

With these recent actions carried out by our units since the launch of invasion attacks against Afrin, the number of losses suffered by the invading Turkish army and allied mercenaries has risen to 2049.”
