Clash between YPG/YPJ and Turkey affiliated gangs

The invading Turkish army and allied gang groups continue their attacks on Efrîn and Shehba regions of Rojava, facing retaliation from YPG/YPJ and Revolutionary Forces.

Local sources report that the invading Turkish army and affiliated gangs have attempted to enter Meranaz village in Shehba, but their attempt was frustrated by the Revolutionary Forces.

On the other hand, gangs affiliated to the Turkish army conducted artillery attacks on Ayn Daqna, El-Bîloniyê and Şêx Îsa villages and Til Rifet town of Shehba Canton. While Revolutionary Forces retaliated against the attacks, no information was immediately available as to the casualties suffered by the gangs.

Turkey-backed gangs also shelled the El-Semoqa village and surroundings of Shehba Dam last night.

Concurrently with the artillery attacks on Shehba villages, gangs affiliated to the Turkish army carried out a bombardment on Efrîn’s Cindirês region. Clashes erupted upon the response of YPG-YPJ fighters.

As clashes continue, no details are available yet regarding the gang members killed or wounded here.
