Five security members of Makhmur Self-Defense Forces lost their lives and three others got wounded in the attack that targeted Martyr Rüstem Refugee Camp near Makhmur town of Southern Kurdistan at 18:45 Wednesday evening.
The wounded security members are being treated at the Par Hospital in Hewlêr (Erbil).
According to the information we obtained, ID details of the fallen security members are;
-Bager Boran
-Botan Amed
-Çekdar Mawa
-Dewran Mardin
-Baz Dijwar
Identity details of the fallen security members will be announced later on.
A ceremony is being held at the moment for the fallen security members and thousands are condemning the attack against the UN-supervised refugee camp.
In a statement last night, Makhmur People’s Assembly called for an explanation from Baghdad government and the United Nations, none of which has made a statement about the attack yet.
