Heavy fighting continues in north of Afrin

Heavy fighting continues between Syrian Democratic Forces and Turkish army in Raco and Bilbile districts of Afrin.

SDF sources report that Turkish army and the gangs suffered heavy losses as they try to advance into the Northern Syrian territory.

A Turkish attack on Qudde Hill near Raco district was foiled by SDF fighters on Tuesday morning.

According to local sources, Turkish soldiers attacked Quedde Hill and met with strong SDF resistance. Turkish army forces retreated from the area after clashes.

Local also say that there are clashes in Omera village near Raco.

53 SOLDIERS AND GANG MEMBERS KILLED ON MONDAY

SDF sources also said that at least 53 Turkish soldiers and gang members were killed in Afrin and Shehba on Monday.

Turkish army suffered heavy losses in Karabab, Qestelcindo and Qorne villages in Afrin and Til Ciblirin village in Shehba. According to SDF 53 Turkish soldiers and gang members killed and 38 were wounded.

TURKISH SOLDIERS ATTACK HEMAME VILLAGE WEARING CIVILIAN CLOTHES

On Tuesday morning a group of Turkish soldiers attacked Hemame village in Cindires. The soldiers wore civilian clothes for camouflage.

SDF forces responded to the attack and heavy fighting continues in the area.
