Invading forces kidnap civilians in Afrin

The never-ending ordeal of Afrin families.

According to local sources in Afrin, the mercenaries affiliated to Katîbat Ahfad al-Rasul have kidnapped civilians in the town of Bedina in Afrin’s Rajo district and plundered the houses of citizens.

Sources also added that Hisên Umer Kero (50) and Xesan Umer Fawzi and his wife were abducted by the gangs. Their whereabouts are unknown.

Furthermore, mercenaries were said to have released Xesan's wife after they had seized money and gold.

Sources also reported that the mercenaries asked for a ransom from the families of the civilians they had abducted.

Some mercenary groups named Lîwai El-Muntesir Bilah, Lîwai Mihemed al-Fatih and Ehfad al-Resûl, are said to have settled in the town of Mabata.

Another source in Jinderes noted that the invading Turkish army was responsible for the abduction, two months ago, of three citizens: Abu Rodi, his wife Shamirran, and Mustafa Diyan.

The Turkish army took the three to prisons in Turkey, but there is no information about their fate.
