Manbij Military Council Press Office stated that the mass grave contained remains of Qebir Îmo village residents massacred by ISIS in 2014.

A commander for Manbij Military Council stated that there were 15 corpses in a grave, 20 in the second and 200 in the third.

According to information provided by sources from the region, the corpses belong to local people who were taken captive and then tortured to death by ISIS gangs.
