Two meetings to discuss Afrin Liberation Conference resolutions

The two meetings were held in the villages of Bene and Aqibe in Shehba region.

Members of the Afrin Liberation Conference held two separate meetings on Sunday to discuss the decisions taken at last month general conference.

The meetings took place in the villages of Bene and Aqibe villages of Afrin's Şerewa district. Both meetings saw a large crowd of Afrin residents.

After a minute’s silence, the meetings discussed the resolutions of the Afrin Liberation Conference.

A debate followed on the resolutions and on the Turkish state attempts to destroy Kurdish identity through attacks and occupation operations.

People underlined the resistance taking place in all parts of Kurdistan currently under attack.

The discussions also analysed the current political process in the region and special attention was drawn to the latest developments, included the Syrian regime taking over the city of Daraa and carrying out the occupation towards Kuneytra.

The Afrin Liberation Conference commended the YPG / YPJ fighters and the struggle and resistance of the people.

Both meetings ended with a commitment to carry on work and resistance till the liberation of Afrin is secured.
