YPG: Three Turkish soldiers killed in Afrin

YPG Press Center reported that three soldiers of the Turkish army were killed as a result of actions on Wednesday and Thursday, including one specialist sergeant.

The Press Center of People’s Defense Units (YPG) released a statement and said that YPG fighters continue with their actions against the Turkish state gangs in central Afrin.

The statement said; “Conflict continues among the gangs in Afrin city center and there is no safe atmosphere in the city.”

According to the statement, an action carried out by YPG fighters left 2 Turkish soldiers dead, one of them being a specialist sergeant, and 7 others wounded.

YPG forces carried out another action against the invaders in Afrin city center this morning, as a result of which one Turkish soldier was killed and one other got wounded.

Providing information about the latest situation in Afrin city center, YPG said invading gangs clash with each other over the goods they have stolen.

“Conflict continues among the gangs over the theft of people’s properties in the city center. Fighting erupted between Ahrar Al-Sharqiya and Ahrar Al-Sham gangs over generator and materials of the city bakery which is still out of service.”

Mentioning the local council founded by the Turkish intelligence, YPG said; “The Antep Council has been revoked due to a conflict that erupted among the gangs affiliated to Fuad Eliko of the ENKS in Afrin two days ago.”

The statement continued with the following details:

“In order for an attack to be carried out by the Turkish state and gangs on Tal Rifat and surrounding villages in Shehba region, hundreds of gangs gathered in the region with 4 tanks and panzers under the command of gang leaders Abu Yahya Qerendel ‘Moro’ and Abu Bakir El Esli together with Turkish commanders. On the other hand, Turkish reconnaissance aircraft are flying over the region. This aerial activity came after the fabricated news published by the Turkish state’s special war centers.”
