Attack against the Kurds at Lesbos: 7 injured

A group attacked the Kurds on the Greek Island of Lesbos, leaving 7 Kurds injured. Turkish intelligence is suspected to have a role in the incident.

In the state camp where Kurds and Arabs live together on the Greek Island of Lesbos, a debate turned into a conflict where 7 Kurds got injured and 4 assailants were captured.

While other assailants are sought by the Greek police, the Kurds in the camp have been evacuated to another location for security reasons.

Reports suggest that a group tried to turn the incident into a Kurdish-Arab conflict.

Greeks and the Kurds in the camp said they suspect Turkish intelligence might have had a role in the incident. Two previous similar incidents at the same scene strengthen the doubts over the role of Turkish intelligence MIT.
