Trade Union Congress demands Freedom for Öcalan

Solidarity with Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan was expressed by the Trade Unions Congress (TUC) held in Brighton.

During the Congress in Brighton, the Trade Unions Congress (TUC) representatives put up a banner with the words ”Freedom for Öcalan".

The organization shared the same message from its account on Twitter.

The union has been active since 1868, representing 50 trade unions in the UK and 5.6 million workers and members.

Today the TUC will have a fringe meeting discussing the critical role of trade unions, civil society and the Kurdish movement.
