Turkish jets bomb South Kurdistan

The Turkish regime’s genocidal attacks against the Kurds continue in three parts of Kurdistan.

The Press Office of People’s Defense Forces (HPG) said in a written statement that the Turkish army carried out further air raids on Medya Defense Zones in southern Kurdistan, northern Iraq.

According to the statement, Turkish jets shelled the area of Shexzade in Xakurke region on May 25, the vicinity of the Ruse village in Heftanin region on May 28, and the vicinity of the Gire village and Hill Martyr Aslan in Gare region on May 29.

HPG said four guerrillas lost their life in the aerial bombardment in Xakurke region, adding that their identities will be announced at a later stage.
