Women gathered on Drottningsgatan Street, in Stockholm, and carried out an action to protest the Turkish state withdrawing from the Istanbul Convention.

The action included a performance featuring a person representing Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attacking women. The performance grabbed the attention of many passers-by.

Women carrying posters denouncing the withdrawal from the Istanbul Convention and violence against women shouted "Violence against women is political", "Erdoğan is a fascist and a murderer".
