Çarşema Sor celebration in Shengal began with a moment of silence to commemorate those fallen in the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle, after which messages by Rojava Municipalities Union, Borik village assembly, Shengal Religious Scholars Committee, Martyrs' Families Committee and MLKP Rojava were read out.
After celebration messages, Heso Brahîm from the Preparation Committee, Xidir Salih from the Shengal Constituent Assembly, Elî Saçiq from the Êzidî Democratic Society Coordination, Kinê Xwedêda from the Women's Assembly, Hekîm Xelo from the Cizire Canton Autonomous Administration, Beşîra Derwêş from the PYD, Îbrahîm Qeftan from the Manbij Assembly, Henê Somê from the Cizire Canton Religion and Faith Institution, Şêx Dijwar Xelef from the Cizire Canton Êzidî House, and Mensûr Selûm from the Northern Syria Federation Assembly made speeches.
The celebration continued with performances of music band Koma Baton and Shengal Children's Group. With theater and folklore performances, the activity continued with various events till the evening hours.
