Diyarbakýr Book Fair to kick off at the end of May
The third Diyarbakýr Book Fair will take place from 22 to 27 May at TÜYAP Fair Convention and Congress Center in Diyarbakýr and will see the participation of around a hundred publishing companies.
The book fair which is organized jointly by TÜYAP and Union of Turkish Publishers will offer a wide range of events including conferences, literary discourses, panel discussions, poem performances and signature days where 300 authors will meet with their readers.
The fair will also host an exhibition of the photographs by great writer Sabahattin Ali who in his 41year short life performed numerous writings and translations, left lasting impressions on his students as a teacher and gave great efforts for the establishment of Ankara State Conservatory and the training of its first students.
