Kurdish Culture Days to kick off in Nuremberg on Wednesday

The 10th edition of the Kurdish Culture Days, which is traditionally held in May every year by the Medya People’s House in Nuremberg, will begin on 29 May.
The Konê Reş tent where different aspects of Kurdish life will be presented will remain open during the cultural days.
The Kurdish Culture Days will kick off on 29 May, Wednesday at 6 pm in Villa Leon. In Philipp-Koerber-weg square, the Govenda Astera folklore team will open the days followed by concerts of Suleyman Çar Newa and Eleonore Fourniau.
The second day will begin at 7.15 pm at the FilmhausK4 (Königstr. 93,) with the screening of the film Hall of Girls of the Sun.
At Villa Leon Philipp-Koerber-weg, beginning at 6 pm, will be a panel moderated by sociologist Nihal Bayram with journalist-writer Ferda Çetin, journalist-writer Ahmet Nesin and journalist and politician Martin Dolzer. The panel will discuss the Democratic Solution of the Kurdish Question.
On 1 June Saturday at 6 pm in Villa Leon there will be concerts to end the event: on stage, Koma Dengé Xwezayê, Hozan Aydın and Serhat Çar Newa.
