Kurdish writer and intellectual Keremê Seyad died at the age of 82 in Armenia.

Kurdish writer and intellectual Keremê Seyad died at the age of 82 in Armenia. He will be buried in the village of Hakko, Talin where he was born on Tuesday.

Seyad was born in 1938 in the village of Hakko in the province of Talin, Armenia, and received his university education in Yerevan. Seyad started working in Radioya Kurdi in Yerevan in 1960 and later served as the radio director.

Seyad worked there until 2017 and also worked for Riya Teze newspaper.

Keremê Seyad devoted his entire life to serving and promoting Kurdish culture. He will be buried in Hakko, where he was born, on Tuesday.
