The Kurdistan Report magazine will from now on be published in English, too. Selected articles can be found on the magazine's website or Twitter. On a weekly basis articles from the latest Kurdistan Report edition will be translated into English and shared online.
The Kurdistan Report is the oldest magazine published in Europe dealing with political, social and cultural developments in Kurdistan and the Middle East. It has been published regularly every two months since 1982. The politics and paradigm of the Kurdish Freedom Movement are at the center of its coverage. Regular contributions from other struggles in Europe and the world complete the coverage. The grassroots democracy, women’s liberation and ecology lived in practice in Kurdistan are discussed on the basis of concrete developments and projects. The articles come mostly from the region itself but are also supplemented by authors from Europe.
While the Kurdistan Report was published for some time in many different languages - Greek, Italian, English or German - it has been available for several years only in German. In order to give English-speaking readers the opportunity to benefit from the depth and diversity of the Kurdistan Report, from now on articles will be regularly translated into English and published online.
