The band, known for its multicultural structure, will give a concert in Bostanci Show Centre on November 23. Rastak will then move to Diyarbakir and meet with fans in a concert at the Culture and Congress Centre.

Rastak will donate a part of the proceeds from these concerts to the victims of the recent earthquake in Kermanshah.

The deadliest earthquake of 2017 struck western Iranian province of Kermanshah, killing 530 people, injuring more than 8,000 and destroying more than 30,000 houses.

Rastak is an ensemble for contemporary Persian folk music that was formed as an experimental music group in 1997. The group seeks to collect, record and interpret traditional Persian folk music for a global audience, incorporating language, culture and history also merging traditional instruments and forms with contemporary rhythms.
