While dozens of people were seriously injured due to the latest wave of attacks in North-East Syria, many people are struggling with health problems due to cold weather conditions, hunger, lack of clean water and food.
The Health Council of North and East Syria released a statement calling for solidarity in the face of the increasing humanitarian crisis in the region and invited all health institutions to contribute to the process.
"Due to the resettlement of a large mass of citizens forcibly displaced from the Shehba region to the Autonomous Administration regions, we appeal to all hospital administrators in accordance with our moral values and humanitarian responsibilities. In coordination and co-operation, provide the necessary medical assistance to those in need free of charge and admit patients in hospitals," the Health Council said.
