HPG reports continued attacks on guerrilla areas

The Medya Defense Zones in Southern Kurdistan are bombed almost daily by the Turkish army. The HPG has published a list of the attacks of the last nine days.

The Press Office of the People's Defense Forces (HPG) has published a list of the Turkish army's attacks on guerrilla areas in Southern Kurdistan in the period from September 20 to 29:

September 20: The village of Hizankê in the Deşta Nehlê area in Akrê region was bombed by fighter jets.

September 24: The surroundings of the Yekmalê village in the town of Bamernê in Metna region was bombed by fighter jets.

September 25: The surroundings of the village of Guzê in the Amadiya district of Gare region were bombed by fighter jets.

September 25: The slopes of Hill Çiyareş in the Zap region were bombed with howitzers and mortars. This caused a fire that lasted for two days.

September 25: The area surrounding the village of Beşili in the Bamernê town of Metina was bombed by fighter jets.

25 September: The Werxelê area in the Avashin region was bombed by fighter jets.

September 26: The area of Keşan in Heftanin region was bombed by fighter jets. Subsequently, mountain slopes at the village Şilan in the same area were bombed by attack helicopters.

September 27: The areas of Geliyê Basya, Dola Hesaba and Gundê Dirê in the Avashin region were bombed by howitzers. The fire that erupted as a result of the bombardment continues to rage.

September 28: The Stunê area in the Avashin region was bombed with mortars.

September 28: The Kolit area in Xakurke region was bombed by attack helicopters.

September 29: The Goşinê and Sinînê areas in Xakurke were bombed by fighter jets at four in the morning.
