The attacks launched by the gangs that the occupying Turkish state recruited from ISIS and its derivative gang groups (now called the Syrian National Army - SNA) on Northern and Eastern Syria continue on the 11th day. The SNA gangs, who have increased their attacks especially on the Tishreen Dam and Qereqozax Bridge fronts, are being harshly retaliated by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and Manbij Military Council fighters. The latest attacks on Wednesday night were repelled by the SNA forces.

While Turkish drones are in constant movement in the skies of the region, places such as Kobanê and Tishreen have also been bombed.

The main target of the attacks is Kobanê. The gangs are trying to open a front to Kobanê by taking the Qereqozax Bridge and its surroundings. The resistance by the SDF and its components extends from the Kobanê countryside to the Tishreen Dam. SDF fighters on the Qereqozax line spoke to ANF.

Tishreen and Qereqozax in control

SDF fighter Tolhildan Zagros drew attention to the fact that the Turkish state has been waging a dirty war against the people of the region in recent days. Zagros added that they have resisted the attacks targeting them both in clashes and special warfare. He said that they have control of both the Tishreen Dam and the Qereqozax Bridge. Zagros, who stated that occupying both fronts is not easy, said: "They are threatening us with Kobanê from here. The Rojava Revolution has been resisting these attacks not only today but for 13 years. The Turkish state wants to scare our people. However, despite their special war rhetoric and their daily attacks on us, we are both at the Tishreen Dam and the Qereqozax Bridge."

‘The Turkish state wants to take it to the 2014 process’

Another fighter, Şêrgo Kobanê, noted that all the forces and components protecting their country are on the fronts. Fighter Kobanê said that the Turkish state and its affiliated SNA gangs want to increase their attacks, and added: "Now they want to take the Tishreen Dam and the Qereqozax Bridge. Taking these places would create very serious dangers for Kobanê. They are preparing to attack Kobanê through these lines. Kobanê developed a history against ISIS in 2014. We and our friends fought and brought ISIS to an end. Now the Turkish state is trying to bring the situation back to 2014. Kobanê will not fall into the hands of the Turkish state and its gangs. Even if one person remains from the SDF, YPG and YPJ forces, no one can bring about the end of the Kurdish people. They cannot darken our future."

‘If there is a war in Kobanê, all Kurds are ready for it’

Fighter Kelteş Kobanê stated that they are standing against the Turkish state and its gangs on the fronts. The fighter said that they have repelled the attacks on Qereqozax and Tishreen, continued: “They are threatening Kobanê again. We are not afraid of their threats. If there is going to be a war, we are ready for it. Just as we broke ISIS in Kobanê, we will break them too. They are bombing Kobanê in many ways, by drones and ground bombings. Now they want to head towards Kobanê via Qereqozax. We are there. If we remain as one, we will resist. The people of Kobanê from 7 to 70, have raised their arms against the invasion attacks of the Turkish state and are resisting. The people of Kobanê have prepared themselves in this way and we are ready for their attacks.”
