A tripartite meeting was held on Friday between the General Command of Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), the Syrian Democratic Council (MSD), and the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (DAANES).

The meeting took place under the leadership of SDF commander-in-chief Mazlum Abdi.

The focus of the discussions was on developing general and strategic policies for Northern and Eastern Syria. The SDF said in a statement: "These policies aim to achieve three key objectives: finding a political solution to the Syrian crisis, maintaining regional security and stability, and promoting prosperity and development across various sectors. The meeting also discussed the most important political and military developments, as well as service issues and difficulties facing people in north and eastern Syria."

The statement added: "The participants also emphasized the importance of dialogue among all Syrian parties. They believe this dialogue is crucial for establishing a democratic national project that unites the country’s territory and people. Additionally, they discussed methods to confront security threats that aim to disrupt peace and stability in north and eastern Syria."

The statement continued: "Finally, the meeting emphasized the need to strengthen the political position of the DAANES. This includes expanding relations with Arab countries, regional organizations, and the international community. Collaboration in areas such as combating ISIS and addressing economic, health, and educational challenges was also highlighted."
