11 more prisoners joined the hunger strike against repression and torture in Urfa No. 1 T Type Prison. There are now 30 prisoners fasting.
11 more prisoners joined the hunger strike against rights violations in Urfa No. 1 T Type Closed Prison. In their weekly phone call with their families, the detainees stated that 11 more prisoners had joined the protest as of 22 August.
The total number of hunger strikers is 30.
On 15 August, 9 more prisoners announced that they would join the hunger strike that was started by 10 prisoners on 8 August.
