The resistance of Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her husband and two sons in 2018, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who was injured in the attack, continues demanding the prosecution of those responsible.
The members of the Şenyaşar family were killed by bodyguards and relatives of AKP Deputy Ibrahim Halil Yıldız.
The family has been continuing the resistance at home in Suruç since April 30 due to the coronavirus curfew restrictions.
The Şenyaşar family is on its 64th day of protest. Today Emine and her son Ferit posted this comment on Twitter: “On the 64th day of our struggle for justice, we call out to all democratic forces and bar associations: Let's not be silent about the persecution we are subjected to. Let's break the political pressure on the judiciary together."
