AKP repression against Şenyaşar family continues
Ferit Şenyaşar, whose brothers and father were murdered by bodyguards and relatives of AKP deputy Deputy İbrahim Halil Yıldız, was called to give a statement to the police.
Emine Şenyaşar and her son Ferit Şenyaşar lost three family members when bodyguards and relatives of AKP deputy Ibrahim Halil Yıldız, attack them in Suruç just before the general elections on June 2018.
Emine Şenyaşar and her son have been holding a Vigil for Justice in front of the courthouse in Urfa for 21 days.
Ferit Şenyaşar, who was injured in the attack, was summoned by the District Police Department to testify within the scope of the investigation opened upon the complaint of Süleyman Yıldız, brother of AKP Deputy Ibrahim Halil Yıldız.
Şenyaşar did not get any information about the charges against him when he went to the police station to testify.
A statement posted on the family's social media account said: "The sound of the crying and lamenting mother always overwhelms the voice of the laughing and slandering tyrant. You can mislead the president with photomontages, but you cannot fool the people of Turkey. Our struggle for justice continues on its 21st day."
