The hunger strike launched by PKK and PAJK prisoners on 27 November demanding to lift the isolation of Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan and to improve prison conditions has entered its 16th day. The 4th group of prisoners took over the action.
Nurcan Ersöz and Mülkiye Doğan, who are held in Bayburt M Type Closed Prison for 23 years, have taken over the hunger strike.
While women prisoners stated that they were determined to achieve their goals, they called on everyone to claim the hunger strike.
