Anatolia Entrepreneur Businesswomen Associations Union (AGIDEF) is preparing for an action in Ankara in early September. The action will be named “Mothers’ tears have no religion, no language, no nationality”. Union Leader Fidan Aydýn stated that they want the silence of weapons and that they are planning to gather all women from Edirne to Hakkari.

WOMEN ORGANIZATION FOR PEACE

Anatolia Entrepreneur Businesswomen Associations Union (AGIDEF), which was founded 4 years ago in Ankara, is getting ready for an end of the continuing war and for the silence of weapons. Founded with the aim of employing women, developing their existing works and pave the way for them participating in politics and civil society organizations, AGIDEF will this time be organizing women for peace.

The union will be going out on the streets in early September. Leader Fidan Aydýn pointed out that they are the first women union, remarking that they are carrying out active work and studies in 22 provinces and aiming to expand to 81 provinces.
