The rally in support to political prisoners on hunger strike in Turkey was not given permission by police. The rally was organized by DÖKH to call on people to act as PKK and PAJK continue their hunger strike reaching a critical point for their health.

Police did not allow the rally to take place but people in their hundreds took to the street ignoring the prohibition.

BDP co-chair Gültan Kýþanak, DTK co-chair Aysel Tuðluk, BDP Diyarbakýr deputies Nursel Aydoðan, Emine Ayna were among the many who showed up at the rally.
