Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan has been kept in absolute isolation in Imralı and has not been heard from for more than two years. His brother Mehmet Öcalan and Öcalan's guardian, Mazlum Dinç, applied once again to the Bursa Chief Public Prosecutor's Office requesting a visit.
Similarly, the families of other prisoners in Imralı applied for a visit. Ömer Hayri Konar's brother Ali Konar, Hamili Yıldırım's brother Polat Yıldırım and Veysi Aktaş's sister Melihe Çetin submitted their request.
There has been no news from Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan since 21 March 2021.
