Ismail Çoban, editor-in-chief of the Azadiya Welat newspaper (closed by Decree Law) who is in Mersin Tarsus T Type Closed Prison No. 3, made a phone call with his family on Monday (3 August).
Çoban said that 5 prisoners were diagnosed with coronavirus but were not treated.
He added that the prisoners' health conditions are critical: "Our friends struggle for life for 14 days, but nothing is done. Our health is in serious danger too. We are subject to serious violations of rights. We may not even be able to make phone call again."
