Former UK MEP Julie Ward condemns arrest of Leyla Güven
Former UK MEP Julie Ward commented on the arrest of the Kurdish woman politician Leyla Güven, and on the brutal oppression of women by the Erdoğan government.
Julie Ward, a British politician and a former MEP for the North West England region for the Labour Party from 2014 to 2020, a supporter of Peace in Kurdistan and the Freedom for Öcalan Campaign UK was interviewed by journalist Erem Kansoy.
Julie Ward was a member of two International Peace Delegations to Imrali in Turkey.
