Guards in Elazığ High Security Prison No 2 raided the wards and attcked three prisoners. The prisoners talked about what they were subjected to during the weekly phone calls with their families. They reported that 60-year-old sick prisoner Mahmut Çakmak was tortured and had bruised on his body. The prisoners said that the guards did not comply with the epidemic measures and that they turned ward raids into a routine.

After being informed about the violence, families will apply to the Human Rights Association (IHD) to request legal assistance against violations of rights.
