The ban on actions and activities in Hakkari and its districts, which has been going on since 2016, has been extended by the Governor's Office for another 15 days. The ban, which entered its 986th day, will continue until 27 November.
The Governorship said in a statement that “the ban is ordered to defend the basic characteristics of the Republic, the indivisible integrity of the state and the nation, national security, public order, and to prevent crime, protect the rights and freedoms of others, prevent the spread of the coronavirus epidemic, protect general health, prevent possible provocations.”
