Hunger strike in Mardin E Type Closed jail enters 12th day
The hunger strike in Mardin E Type Closed Prison has entered its 12th day. A prisoner has been deported to another jail.
The indefinite alternating hunger strike started on 21 February in Mardin E Type Closed Prison continues on its 12th day.
It has been decided to continue the hunger strike, which the prisoners started in groups of 3 fasting for 5 days, in groups of 6. Prisoner Mehmet Şerif Acar, Azad Gürbüz, Abdurrahman Şimşek, Hüseyin Ali, Serhat Boğaakça and Vedat Koyuncu took over the hunger strike action.
A prisoner was deported
One of the prisoners, İlhami İşi, was deported to İslahiye Type E Closed Prison on 25 February.
