Semire Direkçi, an ill prisoner whose intestine has been taken out with surgery for about 450 days, said that her right to health is being violated as her intestine started to lose its function.
Direkçi said: "I want you to expose this situation to the relevant institutions and organizations."
43-year-old Semire Direkçi, who is held in Women's Closed Prison in Amed, underwent 7 surgeries during her 23 years of imprisonment. Direkçi, who underwent brain and intestinal surgeries, also has high blood pressure and vision impairment. Direkçi has been forced to live with her bowels out of her body for 450 days.
