On May 4, Iranian regime forces opened fire on a group of people doing border trade in the Shapatani region in Urmia's Shino district in East Kurdistan (Rojhilat).
According to Kurdistan Human Rights Organization, Nuredîn Îbrahîmî was killed and 3 people were injured in the attack of Iranian regime forces. One of the injured civilians reportedly remains in critical condition.
According to Kurdistan Human Rights Organization data, the Iranian regime forces have killed 96 people engaged in border trade between April 2016 and April 2017.
