The Justice Vigil was launched on 9 March, in front of the Urfa Courthouse, by Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her husband and two sons as a result of the attack carried out by AKP Deputy İbrahim Halil Yıldız's bodyguard and relatives on 14 June 2018.

Emine and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who survived the attacks in Suruç, continue to carry out the vigil demanding justice. Today is the 250th day and the Şenyaşar family posted a comment on Twitter saying: “Our struggle for justice continues on the 250th day. The reason why the dollar is changed for 10 liras is not the economy. It is bad government. It is the escape of capital from lawlessness. Either justice or resignation.”
