Mehmet Emin Türk (54), was held in Diyarbakır Type D Prison. He was released after 30 years of captivity. Türk, who was sentenced to life in prison in 1994 for "membership in an illegal organization", was welcomed outside Diyarbakir prison by his relatives and the Association for Assistance to Families of Prisoners (TUAY-DER).
