A march was organized in Berlin by the “Revolutionäre Solidaritätsbündnis - Revolutionary Solidarity Alliance” and “Bündnis Weg mit dem Paragraphen 129”, Prisoners' Voice Platform (TSP), Solidarity with Palestinian Prisoners Network-Samidoun, Netzwerk 'Freiheit für allgeneen to mark International Day of Solidarity with Political Prisoners.
Speakers at the march drew attention to the situation of political prisoners in different countries, and made a call to support the revolutionaries and anti-fascists.
The Solidarity with Palestinian Prisoners Network-Samidoun called for increasing solidarity with Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails, while the socialist youth organization Young Struggle (YS) and the young women's organization Zora, stated that they will continue their struggle in support of all revolutionary prisoners wherever they are in the world, and protested the fascist Turkish state for the arrest of ESP, SKM SGDF members this week.
Dev-Genç members drew attention to the situation of Hasan Cibelik, Hasan Unutan, Özgül Emre and Serkan Küpeli, who were detained by the German state.
From Ahmed Saadat, imprisoned in Palestine, to Mumia Abu Jamal, imprisoned in the US, from Lebanese revolutionary Georges Abdallah, imprisoned in France, to Kisan Da and Sheela Marandi, imprisoned in India, all prisoners were saluted and a call was made to support all political prisoners, starting from those imprisoned during the uprising in Iran to Abdullah Öcalan.
Speakers also underlined the situation of ill prisoners and said: "Let us send our letters and cards to all prisoners and let’s be their voice outside."
