Intellectuals, artists, human rights campaigners and union representatives demonstrated in Dersim and call for peace as the attacks by Turkish army is increasing. They demanded an end to military operations. And they protested against the dams which would destroy the environment.
Over two thousand people joined the demonstration. Among them,

In a written declaration issued by intellectuals it was stated that “military operations will destroy the hopes for democratic solutions after a short period of expectations for the possible beginning of negotiations in to solve the Kurdish issue which is an issue going back to 90 years, along with Turkish republic history”.
