The justice vigil in front of the courthouse in Urfa carried out by Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her husband and two sons in an armed attack that involved AKP Deputy İbrahim Halil Yıldız's bodyguard and relatives, and his son Ferit Şenyaşar, who was injured in the same attack, continues on its 114th day. Şenyaşar Family made a phone call with Fadıl Şenyaşar, who has been jailed in Elazığ Prison for 3 years.

 'His father and brothers were killed; he has been jailed for 3 years'

“My son has been kept in solitary confinement for 3 years. His father and brothers are all dead. How can he ever be in prison? There is nothing we can do. We did all we could, yet it didn't work. They destroyed my family, yet they won’t stop. One of my sons is tormented in prison. They even banned us from the courthouse. We are being persecuted," Emine Şenyaşar said.

Ferit Şenyaşar said that “We are subjected to injustice. My brother has been unlawfully held in a solitary cell for 3 years. He does not lose his hope and resists. We are trying to make his voice heard here.”

“Can there be a greater sin than injustice? When will you hear our cry? Justice!,” the family wrote on their social media account.
