Prisoners enter 28th day of hunger strike

The hunger strike launched by prisoners demanding to end the isolation on Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan and end the violations in prisons has reached day 28 and is being carried out by the 6th group of prisoners.

The indefinite-alternated hunger strike launched in all prisons on November 27 demanding the end of the isolation regime imposed on Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan is on its 28th day.

The hunger strike has been taken over by the 6th group of prisoner.

The prisoners are reiterating their message, saying that "all our people should stand up against isolation in prisons. Our demands are for our people to live freer days and with a free leadership. The time of freedom is now.”
